    A joint venture with Network Rail to develop a 2.4 million sq ft rail-freight distribution hub. Failed at Public Inquiry during 1999. Land subsequently sold to a BAA led consortium and Goddman Logistics.

    Previously the heavily contaminated site of South Earley Power Station, Thames Valley Park now provides 1.5 million sq ft of business space, a large riverside park, and a nature reserve.

    Argent developed the central five headquarters buildings.

    Ffos-y-fran Land Reclamation Scheme Merthyr Tydfil

    A joint venture with The Miller Group Limited, reclaiming 1,000 acres of derelict land, extracting coal in the process using surface mining methods.

    Argent sold its interest in the reclamation scheme in 2016.
